About us
Authentic smoking. That's what we do best. And you can taste it. We love to smoke and we love to do it the old-fashioned way. No pellet stoves here. We fire up the smokers without any chemicals and get the oak, hickory, and pecan woods smoking early each morning through patience and dedication.
We don't really believe in shortcuts - just about everything is made in-house, from the award-winning rub to our sauces, our famous Potato Salad (we have a family who drives in to get it from Pratt!), and even our homemade Ranch salad dressing.
Cutting corners just isn't our style.
We've been around in one form or another since 1994. Some of our team have been around for years - as early as 2003 - and that kind of dedication is rare in the restaurant business. Why are we here? We love barbeque and we love feeding the people of Wichita.
We're small. Delano Barbeque Company is a tiny but mighty, hole-in-the-wall, barbeque joint in Historic Delano, Wichita. We are family-owned and, in many ways, a family here, too. We don't want to become a franchise - we're happy making great food for great folks. Right here.

Get the good stuff at a great price with our daily specials:
Monday and Tuesday: Our Favorite Specialty Sandwiches with side and drink. (You basically get your drink for free, it's just easier that way - meat is our thing, not math.)
Wednesday: The Big Bad Wolf (Hot Links and Smoky Joe on a toasted bun) or the Spicy Pig (Sweet Heat Pork with Hot Links and Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage) with a side and drink is on special. We also fire up the Pork Belly Burnt Ends on Wednesdays! (They are first come, first served.)
Thursday and Friday: Two-meat dinners! Two meats, two sides, Texas Toast, and a drink. Remember Brisket and Burnt Ends are premium meats and have an additional charge, while Ribs will only cost ya an extra $2, if you're not too hungry, you can get a loaded Mac & Cheese with a drink and your favorite meat on top, too. (Extra for Brisket or Burnt Ends.)
Saturday: Four-Rib Dinners for just $14. Four juicy and tender pork spare ribs, two sides, Texas Toast, and a drink.
Kids meals: Grilled Cheese, Sliders, and Rib dinners are available daily for the junior BBQ champ in your family.
