We love to smoke and we love to do it the old-fashioned way. No pellet stoves here. We fire up the smokers without any chemicals and get the oak, hickory, and pecan woods smoking early each morning through patience and dedication.

 

We don't really believe in shortcuts - just about everything is made in-house, from the award-winning rub to our sauces, our famous Potato Salad (we have a family who drives in to get it from Pratt!), and even our homemade Ranch salad dressing.

Cutting corners just isn't our style.

We've been around in one form or another since 1994. Some of our team have been around for years - as early as 2003 - and that kind of dedication is rare in the restaurant business. Why are we here? We love barbeque and we love feeding the people of Wichita. 

 

We're small. Delano Barbeque Company is a tiny but mighty, hole-in-the-wall, barbeque joint in Historic Delano, Wichita.  We are family-owned and, in many ways, a family here, too. We don't want to become a franchise - we're happy making great food for great folks. Right here.
